The Beginning of an End
One month after his break up, Jamal went back home, to his parents, in Rahim Yar Khan. Rahim Yar Khan is the last district of Punjab, Pakistan. It is enclaved with dessert as a result it is hotter than other provinces of Punjab. Literacy rate is low. Farming is the profound occupation. one will encounter traffic and hustle bustle, all day, in the city. But at night, the temperature decreases, a cold wind swirls in the area. And there is absolute silence; peaceful & addictive silence. Jamal's decision to move back to Rahim Yar Khan was an emotional and impulsive one, and decisions based on emotions are merely decisions; instincts one may say. Anyhow, there he is, in Rahim Yar Khan, living life like a recluse. Leaving Rahim Yar Khan in a young age, for higher education, deprived him of a social circle there.
